The real book rules
Faithful to the original: page flip, last digit, zero is out. Not a re-skinned slot machine pretending to be cricket.

Back of the classroom. A fat textbook. Flip it open, read the last digit of the page — that’s your runs. Game of Cricket Book is that exact game, rebuilt for your phone, with real scorecards and nothing to unlearn.

A browser demo of the real rules. The app adds 2-player, custom overs and match stats.
How to play
If you learned this in a school corridor, you already know it. If you didn’t, you will in ten seconds.
Pick your overs and wickets, name the players, choose AI or pass-and-play. The defaults are ready to go.
One tap turns to a random page. The book does what a bowler does — you never know what’s coming.
That digit is the ball. Runs go on the board, a zero takes your wicket. Beat the target and the match is yours.
The last digit, decoded
What’s inside
Everything the playground version had, plus the scorekeeping you always argued about.
Faithful to the original: page flip, last digit, zero is out. Not a re-skinned slot machine pretending to be cricket.
No friend nearby, no signal, no lobby to wait in. The AI chases your total ball by ball, and it does not go easy.
One phone, two names, no accounts. Hand it over between innings exactly like you handed over the book.
Runs, wickets, overs, this-over chips and full match statistics — settled by the app, not by whoever shouts loudest.
Flight mode, basement, a train through the fields — it doesn’t care. Light enough that an old phone won’t sweat.
Two overs while the kettle boils, or a long chase on the commute. Set the format before every match.
Inside the app
Four screens. That’s the entire app, and that’s the point.
